The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) has received financing from the African Development Fund, hereinafter called the Bank,toward the cost of the Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Programme in the Horn of Africa, Project II (DRSLP II).
Save the Children International, as an Implementing Agency (IA), intends to apply part of the proceeds of the project toward payments under the contracts for the construction of eight (8) earth dams, “water balleys”, of 18,000 m3 each in Somaliland (five lots)
✓ LOT#1: Two earth dams at Mureec (1) and Dhoobaweyne (1) villages in Oodweine district
✓ LOT#2: One earth dam at Godwaraabe village in Oodweine district
✓ LOT#3: Two earth dams at Berkada Ali Hirsi (1) and Barwaaqo “Mashruuca” (1) villages in Ainaba district
✓ LOT#4: Two earth dams at Dacarta (1) and Idhanka (1) villages under Maroodijeeh/Gebiley
✓ LOT#5: One earth dam atWeerar village in Lughaya district
