The Ministry of Health, through the National Malaria Control Division (NMCD), and in collaboration with Malaria Consortium, has just completed SPAQ administration for the sixth seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC) round from May to September 2026. More than 300,000 children aged 3โ€“59 months and 96,000 children aged 5โ€“10 years were targeted in this round across Moroto, Kotido, Nabilatuk, Amudat, Nakapiripirit, Abim, Karenga, Napak and Kaabong districts.

Malaria Consortium therefore seeks a qualified and experienced consultant or consultancy firm to conduct an independent end-of-round survey. The survey shall generate robust, actionable evidence on programme coverage, implementation quality, adherence to the SPAQ protocol, communication effectiveness and operational bottlenecks, and will inform planning and quality improvement for subsequent SMC rounds.
