Description

Human Appeal Senegal invites qualified and experienced contractors to submit bids for the construction of sustainable Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) infrastructure in ten (10) schools located in vulnerable communities in Senegal.

The project aims to improve access to safe drinking water, adequate sanitation, and hygiene services for schoolchildren through the construction and installation of:

  • Solar-powered boreholes;
  • Solar water pumping systems;
  • Elevated water towers and storage reservoirs;
  • Water distribution networks and public water points;
  • Gender-segregated school latrine blocks;
  • Menstrual hygiene management facilities for girls;
  • Handwashing stations;
  • Septic systems, drainage, and associated sanitation works;
  • Protective enclosures and ancillary infrastructure.

The selected contractor will be responsible for the supply of materials, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of all facilities in accordance with the technical specifications provided in the tender dossier.

Interested bidders must demonstrate proven experience in civil works, water supply systems, sanitation infrastructure, and solar-powered installations. All proposals shall include the required technical documentation, drawings, work methodology, implementation schedule, and financial offer.
